Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram Malayalam Movie review

Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram Malayalam Movie review: With legendary Mammmooty's son Dulquer Salman making his debut, Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram is one of the most anticipated movies of 2014. Balaji Mohan who was lauded for his unique narrative in debut movie Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi will direct the movie.

The star cast of Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram also features Nazriya Nazim and Madhoo in important role. The cinematography of the movie is undertaken by Soundararajan, while Sean Roldan has composed music of the movie. The movie is jointly produced by Y NOT Studios and Radiance Media. Now. let's take a look at the movie review.

Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram which is a social and political satire revolves around the impact of a rare strain of flu that spreads in a village and makes people lose their ability to speak. Dulquer who is cast in the role of a salesman that sells an adhesive called Dr. Fix It, is the unlikely leader in the situation.

Mohan has cleverly used the metaphor of a flu to represent the society that due to the flu has lost it's ability to speak out against evils of society. Using the plot and sub characters, the director has portrayed that the lack of communication is main cause of our social and political problems. And he has achieved his goal with admirable dexterity.

His supreme narration skills once again come to the fore in the movie. The movie has very good flow and keeps audience interested till the very end. However, the editing is not adequately done in the movie and some scenes do appear silly and useless.

Though, Dulquer shows decent acting potential in the movie, but in some sequences he does look out of his depth. Rest of the star cast has also put decent yet unspectacular shift. All in all, Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram is an one time watch movie.

Masala Republic Malayalam movie review

Masala Republic Malayalam movie review: Masala Republic is a political satire movie directed by debutante Visakh D.S. Who has also written the story and dialogues of the movie. The movie is produced by T. Sukumar under the banner of Chemmeen Cinema. Jassie Gift has composed music of the movie.

The star cast of Masala Republic features Indrajith, Aparna Nair, Sunny Wayne, P. Balachandran, Mamukkoya, Vinayakan, Vinay Forrt, Mala Aravindan, and Captain Raju. Now, let’s take a look at the story and the movie review.

Shambhu (Indrajith) is a police inspector and has made a number of enemies due to his strict actions against law offenders irrespective of their society status. Suspension and transfer doesn’t deter him from doing his job and for him they are part of his job.

As part of his new assignment, he has to curb the use of tobacco and pan masala. So to rein the use of these, Shambhu imposes ban on them which causes significant problem for the common people. Slowly, the political parties start using the ban for their political gains. What happens next is the story of the Masala Republic.

Visakh has done a commendable job as the movie delivers the message powerfully. The director has adequately used all the resources and has developed a very good script. The comedy card is very intelligently used.

The acting performance of the lead actor Indrajith is very good as he flawlessly plays the role of an upright police officer. The rest of the star cast has also done a decent job. Overall, Masala Republic is a hilarious and interesting movie.
