Comedy Nights with Kapil is presently riding high on the TRP's. While, Kapil's show is getting better with every passing episode, the show's rivals are floundering and struggling to garner any positive response from the audiences.

Though, show's host Kapil has been brilliant and entertains audiences every week with his witty comedy, the show has also benefited from the long list of famous celebrities who have appeared on the show.

Almost every popular Bollywood celebrity has appeared on the show, with some like Shahrukh Khan even appearing twice. Sunil Grover welcome on my show: Kapil Sharma

Kapil Sharma who recently celebrated his 33rd birthday has insisted that if his ex-colleague Sunil Grover wants to return to “Comedy nights with Kapil”, he will welcome him.

"If he wishes to come, then he is most welcome. I never wanted him to go either, but it was his own decision," said Kapil who was attending an event organised to unveil comedian Sunil Pal's video "Vote For Sunil Pal".

"Every person has a right to think about his own growth. Even I left a show to start my own. So if I can do, why not him! He has all the right to do that," he added.

Kapil also insisted that he had never seen Sunil as a competitor and asserted that the show's success is down to the hard work of the entire team.

"I have never seen him as a competitor as we have different time slots. Sunil is a very good actor, so wherever he will go, he will do good. But sometimes it happens that an actor is very good, but there are other things as well that makes a show successful."

"I would not say that 'Comedy Nights' is doing good only because of me, it depends on the whole team and I would say everything works in favour of you only by god's grace. My best wishes are with him," Kapil added.

Comedy Nights with Kapil director Preeti Simoes to take legal action against her own team members

Like Kapil in Comedy nights? We also do. But can one pay as much as 10,000 bucks to attend the show live when one can do so for free?

Yes, after the huge success of 'Comedy Nights with Kapil', (especially since it became a platform for promotion for most of the films), some people have been taking undue advantage of its popularity by selling the fake passes of the show for 10,000!

When a newspaper daily reported this to the CNWK team, the show's creative director, Preeti Simoes said, “"Yes, I'm very sad to learn that people are being fooled in the name of Kapil. The show has around 200 people as the audience. Most of these are either fans who approach us outside the studio, some are my production team's relatives and friends, and so on. We have a huge fan following on social networking sites too and we even give them a chance to meet Kapil. But two days ago, I was shocked to know that some people from the audience have paid a huge amount just to attend the show."

Preeti, Kapil's alleged girlfriend, also tweeted about the same on Twitter. “Guys need ur help!!Plz spread the word that nobody shud pay for passes to anyone to watch CNWK shoot...it's a scam!"

Few people from the audience came to us and informed that they had actually paid money and bought passes to be a part of the show.”

“The people who are running this scam are charging Rs 8000-10000 from innocent people to make them watch the shoot and there is an additional charge of Rs 10000 if they want to ask a question and appear on TV. It's a scam going on and I would like to request people to not believe them. On behalf of the entire Comedy Nights with Kapil team, I would like to say this to everyone that no one needs to pay to watch the shooting of Comedy Nights with Kapil. It's free but only by invitation."

Sunny Leone to finally appear on Comedy Nights with Kapil?

Shweta Tiwari who appeared for few cameos on comedian Kapil Sharma's show “Comedy Nights with Kapil” is now all set to join Kapil's ex colleague Sunil Grover in a new show “Mad in India”.

Kapil Sharma given 15 days to appear before Maharashtra Commission for Women

A month ago, Maharashtra Commission for Women sent a showcause notice to comedian Kapil Sharma for passing derogatory comments on the pregnant women in his comedy show. And now after Kapil failed to give reply, MCW has issued a fresh summon for further clarification.

According to reports, Kapil didn't give a proper response to the initial summon. The commission miffed with comedian's lackadaisical initial response decided to send him a fresh legal notice.

In one episode of his popular show “Comedy Nights with Kapil”, while talking about the potholes in the road had cracked a joke on pregnant women. “Such roads have advantages also. If a poor man takes his pregnant wife, crossing a huge pothole – an on spot delivery can take place.” This joke didn't go down with number of women NGO's who found the joke derogatory and tasteless.

The latest reports have revealed that Kapil has been given time of fifteen days to appear before Maharashtra Commission for Women and give a proper reply to their questions and concerns. The officials related to the show have declined to comment on the incident.
