bucks to attend the show live when one can do so for free?
Yes,
after the huge success of 'Comedy
Nights with Kapil', (especially since it became a platform for
promotion for most of the films), some people have been taking undue
advantage of its popularity by selling the fake passes of the show
for 10,000!
When
a newspaper daily reported this to the CNWK team, the show's creative
director, Preeti
Simoes said, “"Yes, I'm very sad to learn that people are
being fooled in the name of Kapil. The show has around 200 people as
the audience. Most of these are either fans who approach us outside
the studio, some are my production team's relatives and friends, and
so on. We have a huge fan following on social networking sites too
and we even give them a chance to meet Kapil. But two days ago, I was
shocked to know that some people from the audience have paid a huge
amount just to attend the show."
Preeti,
Kapil's alleged girlfriend, also tweeted about the same on Twitter.
“Guys need ur help!!Plz spread the word that nobody shud pay for
passes to anyone to watch CNWK shoot...it's a scam!"
We
appreciate Preeti's action and hope the pass-seller group will be
caught soon. Keep watching Kapil, and keep laughing!
