Shahid Kapoor abused Priyanka Chopra at the 15th IIFA awards ?

At the recently concluded IIFA awards at Tampa Bay, Florida, we saw the famous Bollywood celebrities bonding and cheering with each other. The cameras chose to focus on the camaraderie the Bollywood celebrity shares.

However, the award function had it's fair share of cat fights and cold wars which is industry's age old custom. And if the reports are to be believed, Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra who once upon a time were considered a couple had an unsavoury incident at the function.

At the rehearsals which were held a day before the main event, Priyanka made Shahid wait for almost an hour. The actress had arrived late for her performance and therefore was taking extra time which was eating into Shahid's practice session.

Apparently, Shahid who is known to be bit short tempered lost his cool, took the microphone and abused Priyanka. He also went ahead to lambast organizers who didn't do anything to restrict the practice sessions according to the schedule.

Priyanka who was shocked to see Shahid's outburst instead of indulging in an argument decided to walk out without saying anything.

Shahid Kapoor and Irrfan Khan attacked in Kashmir

Actors Shahid Kapoor and Irrfan Khan while shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Haider' in Kashmir were attacked with a fire pot. The incident in which a youth threw a fire pot (Kangri) occurred while the shooting was underway.

A source revealed, “The shooting was in progress and both Shahid Kapoor and Irrfan were moving towards a car when suddenly somebody from crowd threw a Kangri (fire pot) which hit Irrfan and the ash whirling in air touched Shahid Kapoor as well.”

The movie crew was filming a kidnapping scene when the incident occurred. It created a brief commotion at the scene as the spectators gathered to see shooting starter fleeing from the location.

However, the Superintendent of Police, City North, Tahir Saleem denied the reports saying, “There was huge crowd and the youth demanded autographs from the actors. When police tried to control the crowd, one of the youth slipped along with his Kangri which he was carrying.”

The cast and the crew of the movie, which is adaptation of Shakespeare's Hamlet based in Kashmir, was started on January 27. “This is the last phase of the shooting for the film here. The crew will be in Kashmir for 20-25 days,” Khawar Jamsheed, line producer for the film revealed. Most of the shooting is said to be done in Srinagar.
