MPL Films’ Marumunai is directed by Mariesh Kumar and produced by PL Babu, and PL Subbu. The romantic-thriller movie features Maruthi and Mrithula who played the lead roles. The story of Marumunai revolves around two new faces Maruthi and Mrithula. Both of them love each other very much and many romantic scenes are infused in the film. Basically, it is a love story of boy and girl who faced a lot of crime, while their love is at high. So many twist come in their love story and unexpected is unfolded until the last scene.

According to the movie reviews, film is a great combination of love, thrill, romance, comedy and suspense. The wholesome entertainer package is applauded by the audience. But, new faces performance overshadowed the well written script. As, somewhere down the line, it appears as if something is lacking.

The movie has four songs in total that are directed by Sathya Dev. The audio of the movie gained good reviews and positive note from critics as well. The plot was engaging, but it is not as wonderfully represented in the film as it can be. Perhaps, this reason let the Marumunai movie not to rock the box-office, otherwise it would went viral.

Inam revolves around a group of teenagers in an orphanage set during the civil war in Sri Lanka, the movie shows the horror which followed after the UN peacekeeper army withdrew from Sri Lanka and national army started shelling the rebels. And in this shelling numerous innocent civilians are killed, numerous families are torn apart and many children are made orphans. This movie is the tale of such orphans who try to live in such ghastly conditions. The movie portrays their everyday struggle in life.

Sivan is one of the most famous Tamil directors of the present times, his movies are highly acclaimed for their beauty and message. And once again he has produced a masterpiece with Inam. His direction is very good and he has intricately developed the plot of the movie. The characters have unique traits which gives them depth in the movie. The performance of the star cast is also very good. In a nutshell, Inam is a poignant and moving film which bears the hallmarks of Sivan's brilliance.

The story of the movie is set in 1980s and centred around the lives of those people who live on the highway. The movie consists of numerous daily stories that happen along the highway and these moving, poignant stories are wove around the lives of two protagonists who fall in love with each other. Nedunchalai documents the struggles and trial that these people go through everyday and how they fulfill their miniscule dreams.

Director Krishna has done a great job in making a movie on such an interesting and unique concept. The pace of the movie is even which though gets sluggish and dull in some sequences. The script and characters are adequately developed by the director. The acting performance of the lead pair Aari and Swetha Nair is decent, Aari in particular is very good. The music by Satya C nicely compliments the rhythm and elements of the movie. Overall, Nedunchalai is a good movie which few might find slow for their taste.

Director Srinu has done a clever work in this movie as he predominantly focuses on lead role's larger than life persona. The fight sequences are choreographed to perfection.
