The Movie Lastbenchers releases on 29th August 2014 in 600 screens


The movie Lastbenchers is all set to release this 29th August 2014 in more than 600 screens. The film is directed by Prajakt Rebeloma while it is produced by Moreshwar Meshram. The actors in the main leads include Tanvi Lonkar (The Slubdog millionaire child actress) , Sanket Galactus, Dipak and Prajat himself playing the male lead in the movie. Besides, Prajakt is known to be the one-man army having a number of feathers in his cap. He seems to be playing different roles for his debut project right from direction, acting, screenwriting, lyrics, to doing the other jobs for the movie. As far as the movie is concerned, it revolves around four college students, who remain backbenchers but when life turns on them, they toil hard to embark with the silver lining in their lives.

It talks about the life of collegiate and youngsters who remain carefree to enjoy life and thus would certainly going to appeal the heart and soul of teenagers and students. Being produced in central India in a city popularly known as Orange City or Nagpur, Lastbenchers is moderate budget movie, but it touches the right chord of the student community. It has lessons for the youngsters that they have the power and potentials to turn the world as per their whims and fancies provided they are committed and passionate about doing anything in their life.

It is a debut movie of Prajakt Rebeloma, which was largely shot at Nagpur and its vicinity areas, making it one of the first full-fledged movies to be produced in this city. The movie finally would be hitting the theatres on 29th August, which will be called as the D-day for Prajat and his team.

Being released in more than 600 screens can be called though as a modest start yet the story it encompass has the power and potential to shake the student community.
