Kamasutra 3D’has been nominated in three categories of 86th
Academy Awards - Best Motion Picture, Original Score and Original Song. It is
noteworthy that this is the only Indian movie competing in music categories.
The movie is set in backdrop of a historical war and
portrays the journey of love through betrayal and war. This journey is
unraveled through the forbidden world of physical love and sensuality.
Director Rupesh Paul said, “Probably now we have an answer
for all of them who claimed the movie to be soft porn. Hopefully, they know
that soft porns are not eligible for the Academy Award nominations”.
