Dhoom 3 Becomes First Bollywood Movie To Enter 500 Crore Club

Dhoom 3” has continued its success run in 2014 by creating a history in box office collections. Aamir Khan starrer action thriller has now become the first movie to earn 500 crore.

The producers of the movie, Yash Raj Films confirmed the new in their press release saying, “Dhoom:3 continues to create history at both the Indian and overseas box office. It is now officially the first Indian film to cross Rs 500 crore worldwide.”

The detailed break up of the overall collection as declared by producers is

Gross box office collections in India – Rs 351.29 crore ,
Gross collections in the overseas market – Rs 150.06 crore ($25.01 million),
Total gross collections – Rs 501.35 crore ($83.56 million).
