Autonagar Surya which has been plagued by the financial problems, is a political thriller movie directed by Indian American Deva Katta. The movie has Naga Chaitanya and Samantha in the lead while Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Kumar would be seen in supporting roles. Anoop Rubens has been tasked with the music composition while Srikanth Naroj is cinematographer for this venture. Now, lets take a peak at the story and the movie review of the movie which had already been stalled once because of lack of finances.
Surya (Naga Chaitanya) plays the role of a skilled mechanic who had been orphaned at the age of 4. Surya plays the role of a man who stands up against the local goons and tries to free the society from their clutches. The movie is about the local politics, how they are played and how it affects the very fabric of the society. Samantha plays the role of Surya's love interest who at one point in the movie is targeted by the goons.
Autonagar Surya's trailer's had been widely appreciated by the audiences which had made it one of the most awaited movies of 2014. And director Deva Katta hasn't surely disappointed with the final product. The movie is entertaining and interesting with lead actors chipping in a good performance for the movie's cause. Chaitanya continues to fulfill his massive potential which had led many to tout him as a worthy successor of the prestigious Akkineni family. Samantha has also done a decent job in her limited role.
