actress is all but over and her stint as a producer with “Ishkq in
Paris” wasn't exactly good either.
So, these days she is looking for an alternative to Bollywood and if reports are to be believed the dimpled actress will be soon seen in a politician's avatar as she has been given a ticket to contest upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
BJP has given Preity Zinta a ticket to fulfill her political ambitions. She will be up against Sanjay Dutt's sister Priya Dutt who would be looking to win from her North-Central Mumbai seat for third consecutive time.
According to the reports, BJP general secretary Rajiv Pratap Rudy, who is also a distant relative of Preity wanted to field a celebrity against Priya and he felt that Preity who has good connections in Bollywood was the ideal candidate.
However, Priya Dutt is a popular face in Mumbai political circle and well before she began her political innings she was known for her social services. So, it seems that Preity will have to face failure once again.
