Nimirnthu Nil is a Tamil action thriller movie, written and directed by Samuthirakani whose 2009 directorial debut Naadodigal was a runaway hit. The movie has Jayam Ravi and Amala Paul in the lead roles. Nayanthara was the first choice for the lead role, however due to the tight schedule she turned down the offer and Amala was roped in for the project. Now, lets take a peak at the story and movie review.
The movie features Ravi is a dual role, a 24 years old young man and a 48 year old man, and is a high voltage action thriller in which the lead role will turn a revolutionist to fight for the social causes. The lead protagonist is a disciplined young man who changes his outlook towards the society after he faces certain problems. The movie also documents the lives of the main characters as they turn old in fight for their principles.
Director Samuthirakani has once again done a tremendous job as he sets a steady pace of the movie which always keeps you on the edge for the whole course of the movie. Though more is expected from talented Ravi, nevertheless he has done a decent job. The young actress Amala has also given a good account of her in the movie. The only distraction is the background score in the movie.
