IIFA Awards 2014 Tampa Bay: To be held in US for the first time

International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) will be held in the United States for the first time this year. The event will be held in Tampa Bay, Florida from April24-26. To promote IIFA awards in US, famous Bollywood celebrities Anil Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra will be a part of the three-city tour which will travel Los Angeles, Tampa Bay and New York. It will be from January13-15.

“We are very excited to bring IIFA to Tampa Bay... There will be music, dance and a whole lot of spice! We’re looking forward to giving our fans and new audiences the experience of a lifetime,” said actress Priyanka Chopra.

IIFA Weekend and Awards is expected to bring thousands of visitors to the area, Tampa officials announced. The awards are viewed on Television worldwide with approximately 600,000 viewership, according to IIFA.
