Pratyusha Banerjee says police complaint against boyfriend wasn't a publicity stunt

Prior to launch of Bigg Boss 7, Pratyusha Banerjee was in news for filling a police complaint against her boyfriend Markand Malhotra for abusing and misbehaving with her.

In September, she had filed case at Oshiwara police station against Markand for threatening physical harm to her and for usage of vulgar language. She had also alleged that he had misbehaved with her parents. Consequently, Markand had filed case against her for slander and libel.

At that time Pratyusha had also signed a contract with Bigg Boss 7 producers. It was widely speculated that this whole fiasco was nothing other than a publicity stunt done to boost push Pratyusha back into limelight.

she has said, “It was never a publicity stunt. The case is sorted now. It’s been five months and everything is okay. He is happy in his life and I am happy in mine”.
