State Women Commission issues show cause notice against Kapil Sharma

The woes of popular comedian Kapil Sharma have further deepened as the Mumabai state women commission has sent a show cause notice to the producer and host of popular show “Comedy Nights with Kapil”.

Few days ago, it was rumoured that women activist groups were miffed with Kapil for cracking 'disgusting' jokes at the expense of pregnant women. And, now the sources have confirmed that the group has indeed sent a legal notice to Kapil.

Kapil has also been criticized by many for sometimes the crossing the line that defines creating comedy and insulting others. The commission has confirmed that they want to teach Kapil a lesson, In the notice, the commission has asked Kapil to apologize or the face the consequences.

Kapil who has garnered immense success from his comedy show is not new to controversy and troubles. He was earlier sent notice by service tax department over the non payment of 65 lakhs.
