Nalanum Nandhiniyum is a family cum romantic drama written and directed by debutante Venkatesan R. The venture is produced by Ravindar Chandrasekaran under the banner of The Libra Productions.

Michael Thangadurai and Nandita are cast in lead roles, while Jayaprakash, Azhagam Perumal, Renuka ,Soundara Raja and Soori will be seen in supporting roles. The music of the movie is composed by Ashwath Naganathan. For the story and movie review, read on.

The movie is about a couple who are deeply in love, but their parents are against their marriage. Nevertheless, they decide to marry against their parents' wishes. Then, they started working to unite their families. So, how they overcome obstacles and difference between two families to accept each other is the plot of the movie.

Nalanum Nandhiniyum movie is an average movie which had a massive potential but the director failed to capitalise on. In some sequences, the movie has the innocence and charm which if had been maintained throughout, could have made it much better prospect. In some sequences, the movie gets sluggish and boring.

The actors have also delivered an erratic performance, they are good in some scenes but amateurish in another. The comedy to some extent is the saving grace in the movie. Overall, a bit average movie.
