Not Shahrukh but Akshay Kumar to host Bigg Boss 8?

After Salman Khan claimed he will not return to host eight season of controversial reality show Bigg Boss, it was speculated that Shahrukh Khan would be roped in fill the void left behind by Salman in the show.

Later, the style icon of the youth brigade and Kapoor Scion Ranbir was rumoured to be the next host of the Colors channel show. However, the latest rumours are stating that Akshay Kumar has been selected to host the show.

A source was quoted by a popular gossip tabloid saying, “After Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan was approached to host Big Boss 8 but due to the unavailability of dates, he couldn’t manage to host the show whereas, Ranbir who was also approached to host the show, refused to do TV at the moment.”

“Now, Akshay Kumar has almost been finalised to host the reality show. Akshay currently has his home productions’ movie in his kitty so he can change the dates too according to the schedules of the show.”

Though, Akshay has earlier hosted the popular stunt based reality show, but it would be difficult for him to replace Salman Khan who was loved for his bindass and lively style.
