Salim, an action thriller is directed by N V Nirmal Kumar who has earlier worked under legendary director Bharathi Raja. The movie is produced by Studio 9, Sri Green Productions and Vijay Antony Film Corporation.
Vijay Antony and Aksha Pardasany is cast in the lead roles, while Azam Sheriff, R. N. R. Manohar and Premgi Amaren will be seen in important supporting roles. The music of the movie is composed by producer and lead actor Vijay Anthony himself. Now, let us take a look at the story and the movie review.
Salim movie is about the life of a man who has similar namesake as the title of the movie. He is a successful doctor who has almost everything in his life, he is about to marry his beautiful fiancee and has successful practice. However, soon his life is turned upside down by the unexpected turn of events. He has to fight to survive and has to use his wits to battle his way out of the mess.
The director has got the most important aspect of good thrillers absolutely right – the fast paced storyline. The surprising and quick change in circumstances keeps you interested and intrigued. But still the movie is missing something extra which could have made it even better.
Vijay Anthony has delivered a good performance which would further enhance his burgeoning reputation as a good actor. He has also composed good music for the movie. Aksha has very limited role, while others have also done a decent job. Overall, Salim is a decent thriller movie.
