Samarthya Marathi Movie Review:

Samarthya, based on the real incident happened at Beed in Maharashtra is the directorial debut of Chandrashekhar Sandve who has also written the story and dialogues. Mollywood flick stars Arun Nalawade, Asavari Joshi, Sheetal Pathak, Uday Sabnis, Milind Gawali, Swapnil Jadhav, Amit Khopkar, Shirish Ghag and Rajendra Jadhav.

Music is scored by Rajesh Sawant for the lyrics penned by Janmejay Patil. The cinematography is handled by Aniket Karanjkar and project is helmed under the banner of Swayambhoo Productions. Let us take a look at the movie review and story of Samarthya.

The story of Samarthya movie turns around the girl who gets pregnant. After some tests, when the fact is revealed that she is bearing a female child, she is forced for the abortion by her parents. When the misdeed of the doctor open up, people become aggressive. Now, how the girl and doctor deal with the situation is the crux of the story.

Chandrashekhar Sandve should receive a special mention for bringing the serious issue prevalent in all parts of India on the silver screen. He very well narrated the appealing plot. The performance of the cast is good and could have even better, if more efforts have been made. The shooting locations are good and music is average.

Dialogues are impressive and delivered by the cast wonderfully. All actors get good amount of screen presence. Samarthya is good entertaining and thought provoking drama.

Sandhira.com movie review rating - 2.5/5
