With Arima Nambi , an action thriller movie, Anand Shankar who is former assistant of A.R.Murugadoss and grandson of legendary playwright Komal Swaminathan, will make his directorial debut. He has also written the script of the movie. Another debutant in the movie is music director Sivamani who is well known drummer.
The movie features Vikram Prabhu and Priya Anand who was last seen in “Fukrey” in the leading roles, while Arjunan and Yog Japee will be seen in pivotal roles. The venture is produced by Kalaipuli S. Arima Nambi is an action thriller movie which follows two strangers who have landed in a mess. The two strangers work in a unison to escape from the unfortunate situation they have landed. The movie also focusses on the romance that is blooming between them. The movie portrays the psychological impact of such unexpected, unwanted chaotic situations on individual lives.
Arima Nambi movie has been smartly and dextereously developed by director Shankar. He maintains fast paced and high tempo flow in the movie to keep the audiences on the edge of the seats. The music of the movie is also in sync with the situations, tension and flow of the movie. The plot of the movie is also well developed. However, sometimes the scenes don't have gradual flow and seems to be erratic in sequence of appearance.
Prabhu who will be seen in second consecutive thriller movie has done a good job. His intensity, aggression and dialogue delivery perfectly match the persona of his character. Priya has also delivered a good performance in her limited role. All in all, Arima Nambi is a good thriller movie.
