Rose, a romance genre Kannada movie is being produced by Tarun Shivappa under the Kalabyreshwara Film Planet and directed by Sahana Murthy. This intense love story starring Krishna Ajai Rao in the male lead role while Shravya portrays the role of Ajay's love interest.

Rose Kannada is the love story of Ajay and Shravya who have very intense emotional attachment with rose. Both of them love each other very much, but when the same thing gets disclosed in front of their parents, they opposed. Later, some twist occur due to which lover-boy was jailed, then he tries to escape. Whether he manages to escape and get his love or not, is the crux of the movie.
Dialogues delivery is average and story is not much appealing. First-half goes flat except the kissing scene of love birds that has created a buzz. Second-half has some twist that somehow engages the audience. Lead pair has done a good job, but it could have done better.
Narration of Sahana has some flaws that cannot be neglected, but the chemistry and performance of cast tried its best to over rule it. Laced with seven songs, Rose has gained good response from film goers for music. However, Shravya and Ajai Rao sharing screen space in 135 minute long romantic movie nicely redefine the word 'Rose' Movie .
