Ek Villain Movie Review

Ek Villain, romantic-thriller movie is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures and ALT Entertainment. The romantic cum revenge drama that blurs the line between good and evil starring Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles while Riteish Deshmukh makes his debut as an antagonist. Splendid cinematography is handled by Vishnu Rao and spell binding and magical tracks are directed by Ankit Tiwari, Mithoon, Rabbi Ahmed and Adnan Dhool. The saga of love is penned by Tushar Hranandani. Let's take a look at the movie review and conclude who is the real villain in Ek Villain movie as a lot of speculations spread after the release of trailer, songs and dialogue promo.

Plot
The story of 'Ek Villain' turns around the life of Guru (Sidharth) who is a gangster and works for the mafia man Caesar (Remo Fernandez). Quiet, tough, and ruthless Guru is the victim of his dark past that haunts him constantly. But, when after he met the bubbly and crazy girl Aisha (Shraddha) his life changes completely and cold-blooded murderer undergoes transformation. After falling in love, duo decided to settle down into a happy, blissful married life, while Aisha became the victim of a catastrophic event. Guru who is mad in love with Aisha starts hunting down the culprit. Does he find the miscreant Rakesh (Riteish) and understand his motives behind killing Aisha? Does Guru manages to get his love back or return to his dark world? It is the core of the movie.

Performance
Chocolate boy of B-town Sidharth Kapoor who firstly appeared in grey shade has done full justice with his role with wonderful expressions and outstanding performance. Sid exhibited each emotion, anger, love, confusion, puzzled and confusion at ease. Flawless acting of sensational beauty Shraddha fits into her character very nicely and done a good job as earlier. Her chemistry with Sidharth has stolen the show and highlight of the movie. Reitesh Deshmukh who firstly make his debut in the dark shade has played the role with perfection and dialogue delivery is also good. Even, in some scenes, he appears to have sideline the lead pair.

Positive points
Mohit Suri should receive a special mention for good narration that does not leave even a single fault to pinpoint. Whole cast seamlessly slips into their characters and did decent job in portraying their respective roles. The appealing saga of love is spell binding that has gain huge number of applause and created big bang on the box office. The brilliant music is a great jewel that adds more appeal to 'Ek Villain Movie. The storyline is crystal clear and suspense does not have allowed the audience to leave the edges of their seats even for once.

Negative points
In the first half of the movie, some scenes are a bit stretched, but mesmerising music and brilliant performance of actors takes on. Probably, the climax is also expected.

Verdict
Cinematic venture of Mohit Suri has raised the bar for regular thriller and romantic movies. 'Ek Villain' with flawless narration, beautiful songs and phenomenal performance of stars is complete paisa-vasool flick. Must head to the theatres and watch out the movie.
