First time in the Malayalam film industry, gay relationship as the main thread is depicted on silver screen with 'My Life Partner' movie. The Malayalam movie is the directorial debut of MB Padmakumar and produced by Rejimon Kappaparambil. Anusree, Ameer and Sudev Nair portrays the lead roles in this movie.

The story of 'My Life Partner' revolves around the lives of two close friends Richard and Kiran who thinks that that not only couples, but two friends can also become life partners in life. Though, both of them are from different cultural backgrounds, but they ended up in the decision of living together.
Afterwards, they thought of adopting a baby child, so Richard marries an orphan girl Pavithra. The things become more complex, when the relationship of Richard and Kiran get disclosed in front of Pavithra. Later, how Pavithra reacted on this relation is the core of the story.
The movie very nicely exhibited the deep emotional relationship between the two men. The lead cast performance is impressive and seamlessly slip into the character. The story of gay couple with unusual subject line is very appealing and unique. The music is also good and received good number of reviews.
All elements are incorporated in a nice way on the screen and narration is good. A powerful message is dropped by the romantic drama with many twist. Suspense element in the entertainer manages to hook the interest of audience until the last frame and won't allowed them to get bored for a single minute.
