Oohalu Gusagusalade Telugu Movie review:With Oohalu Gusagusalade, actor Srinivas Avasarala is all set to make his directorial debut. Oohalu Gusagusalade is a romantic comedy movie which is based on French play Cyrrano De Bergerac. Sai Korrapati who has produced films such as 'Eega' and 'Legend', has produced this film under Vaaraahi Chalan Chitram banner.
Naga Shaurya of 'Chandamama Kathalu' fame is the lead actor in this film, while Raashi Khanna who was last seen in blockbuster movie 'Manam' is cast in the lead female role. Srinivas himself along with Rao Ramesh and Posani Krishna Murali will be seen in important roles.The music of the movie is composed by Kalyani Koduri. Venky (Shaurya) is an engineering graduate who falls in love with Prabhavati (Raashi). Venky is unemployed and is struggling to find a suitable job. The movie also shows how their love and relationship changes as they progress from late teens to the mid-twenties. How they manage to strike a proper balance in their lives, is the story of the movie.
Srinivas has made a impressive directorial debut with Oohalu Gusagusalade. The story of the movie has decent depth and the characters are also well developed. With in-depth and intelligent script Oohalu Gusagusalade is completely different from other comedies which solely relies on absurd chaos.
The lead actor Shaurya has given a average performance. He could have done better in his role and fails to completely convince audiences. Raashi fares a little better, she looks cute in her role and has done a decent job barring some sequences.
All in all, Oohalu Gusagusalade is a one time watch movie which despite some underwhelming acting performance manages to entertain the audiences.
