'How
Old Are You' is a family oriented drama movie which marks return
of Manju Warrier to the movies after a hiatus of nearly one and half
decade. The movie is directed by Rosshan Andrrews and written by
Bobby Sanjay. The venture is produced by Listin Stephen under the
Magic Frames banner.
Besides Manju, the movie cast features Kunchako Boban, Kanika, Siddhartha Basu, Lalu Alex, Vanitha Krishnachandran, Vinay Forrt and Sreerag Nambiar. The music of the movie is composed by Gopi Sunder. Now, let's take a look at the story and the movie review.
36 year-old Nirupama Rajeev (played by Manju Warrier) is an UD clerk in Revenue Department. The role of her husband is played by Kunchaka Boban. They will be seen together for the first time. There is nothing interesting about her life as she leads a life which is determined by her usual daily activities, but she craves for a change. The movie focusses on the society's obsession with the age and how individual's ability is overlooked by the fact how old he or she is.
The concept of the movie is simple and unique. And, the director Andrrews has used it beautifully to make a moving and sweet movie around it. The languid flow of the movie seamlessly blends with the graceful story of the movie. Manju delivers a good yet rusty performance in her comeback movie. The rest of the star cast has also done a good job. All in all, 'How old are you' is worth watching movie.
