Nee Enge En Anbe Tamil Movie review: Nee Enge En Anbe is the Tamil version of the blockbuster Telugu movie ‘Anaamika’ which in turn is a remake of Vidya Balan’s critically acclaimed movie ‘Kahaani’. The movie is directed by directed by Sekhar Kammula and is produced by Endemol India.
Nayanthara who is one of the most popular South indian actresses is cast in the leading role. While, Harshavardhan Rane is cast in the role of Anaamika’s husband, Vaibahv Reddy and Pasupathy will be seen in important supporting roles. The music of the movie is composed by MM Keeravani. Now, let’s take a look at the story and the movie review.
Nee Enge En Anbe revolves around the quest of a woman to find her missing husband. The protagonist who lives in London, arrives in Hyderabad to begin a search for her husband who has disappeared mysteriously. A police officer (Vaibhav Reddy) comes to her aid in her desperate quest.
She doesn’t have any concrete information or certain facts about her husband’s movement or work in the city, she can only rely on fragments of her memory. Again and again her quest leads her to dead ends, while everyone tries to convince her that her husband never existed. So, how she emerges from the emotional and psychological chaos is the story of Nee Enge En Anbe.
Sekhar has done a decent job and expertly uses catacombs of Hyederabad to add suspense and intrigue to the movie. The movie is fast paced and every sequence in the movie is taut with tension. Nayanthara has done a good job in the movie, while the other cast ably supports her. All in all, a good interesting movie.
