Live Lok Sabha election results 2014: Complete list of winning candidates


As the day for official counting of Lok Sabha election 2014 votes draw near, the anticpation and excitement across India is reaching a fevered pitch. The political parties, big corporate houses and even global powers is eager to know who will form the next governement.

The poling for the 16th Lok Sabha started on April 7 and was completed nearly month later on May 12. About 800 million individuals have cast their votes during the nine phase Lok Sabha election campaign which sparing few violent conflicts were conducted smoothly.

The results of Lok Sabha election 2014 which will decide the composition of 543-member Lok Sabha house, will be offficially declared on May 16. The political alliances would require minimum of 272 seats to stake the claim to form a government.

The early results and projected winners of Lok Sabha election 2014 is expected from 8:00 onwards. However, the early exit polls have placed Narendra Modi led NDA alliance firmly in the driving seat in the race to win the elections.

According to the exit polls, NDA is expected win the elections with resounding victory and are expected to record their best ever tally in the elections. The surveys place the number of seats won by NDA between 260 to 340.

Meanwhile, ruling UPA alliance’s performance would be nothing short of a debacle in the election results. The experts have predicted that the alliance will bear brunt of public ire since the scandal hit incumbent government couldn’t control inflation.
