Medulla Oblam Katta Malayalam Movie review

Medulla Oblam Katta which is a remake of Vijay Sethupathi's 2012 blockbuster comedy drama 'Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom ' directed by Suresh Nair and produced by S. Madhan. The music of the movie is composed by Balagopal.

Rahul Madhav and debutante actress Avaana are cast in the role of lead pair, while Saiju Kurup, Rakendhu and Murali Mohan are cast in pivotal role of main character's close friends. Now, let's take a look at the story and the movie review.

The protagonist is about to get married and just two days before his marriage he goes with his friends to play cricket. In course of the match, while attempting a catch he falls awkwardly on his back. Though, he manages to avoid any serious injury, he loses his memory.

Due to his short term memory, the last one year gets whipped out of his mind and he recognises his life only till college. His friend take him to a doctor who says that he can regain his memory anytime soon. His friends in a bid to avoid bigger problem, accompanies him till he regains his memory.

Though, Nair is unable to replicate Balaji Tharaneetharan 's magic from the original movie, he still manages to do a decent job in making an entertaining movie. He manages to dish out some hilarious comedy scenes in the movie without going too overboard. The whole star cast has also done a good job but like the director misses out on an opportunity to make the movie even better.

Sandhira movie review rating –3/5
