Babloo Happy Hai which is a new generation love story is directed by Nila Madhab Panda, who has earlier directed critically acclaimed movies such as “I am Kalam” and “Jalpari”. The movie cast is made up of fresh faces such as Sahil Anand, Erica Fernandes, Sumit Suri, Amol Parashar and Preet Kamal. Now lets begin with the movie review of the movie which was earlier titled as "Love is not mathematics".
Babloo Happy Hai is a youth, fun film that shows youths facing the turning point of their lives. The movie is woven around a road journey of close friends, and show the impact that journey has on their lives. The movie explores the themes of love, relationship and sexuality. The movie is about a personal journey which every individual undertakes to find reasons behind happiness.
Director Nila Madhab Panda has done a decent job but his rooky cast lets him down. The acting department of the movie is below bar with some performances completely messing up the good work done by the creative team. The music given by the debutante Bishakh-Kanish is also severely lacking. Overall a disappointing movie from Madhab who was highly acclaimed for “I am Kalam”.
