political rallies. According to reports, Sunny is all set to follow
his father's footsteps as he steps in to a role of a politician.
A source close to Sunny has revealed that the macho man of Bollywood might join Bhartiya Janta Party ahead of 2014 Lok Sabha polls. The BJP is very keen to add Sunny to their ranks as they battle to gain majority in the parliament.
Our Source further revealed, “BJP is well aware of Sunny's star power. They want to cash on his popularity and are trying to persuade him to join politics.”
“Deol family's popularity in Punjab is immense, therefore BJP is planning to announce Sunny their candidate from Ludhiana against a strong congress rival,” source added.
Sunny is known for his shy and quiet persona off the screen. Now, it would be interesting to see how he copes with his new role of a politician. Dharmendra had also contested lok sabha elections for BJP from Bikaner seat in 2004.
