Venmegam movie is made around a love triangle of a middle class boy, a simple girl and other girl who is daughter of a powerful man. The movie portrays the emotional conflict between the lead trio and the challenges they have to face everyday. The movie shows how our destiny is entwined with each other and the implication it has on loved one's lives. The movie also shows the political turmoil that the society undergoes when someone tries to confront its corrupt ways.
The work of director Raam Laxman is commendable as he mixes all the flavours nicely to give a movie which is interesting and entertaining in equal measures. The acting performance of lead actor Vidharth though not spectacular, is decent. He could have done better job. The lead actresses Ishara Nair and Jayashree have done a good job. The script of the movie is visibly undercooked, therefore wasting a chance of profiting from a good storyline. Overall, the movie is a worth watching once only.
