As
revealed earlier, popular comedian Kapil Sharma is all set to work
his magic on box office after ruling the TRP charts with his show
“Comedy
nights with Kapil.”
Kapil's movie will be produced by Yash Raj Films under the Y Films banner. The Y Films is dedicated towards producing youth centric movies and had produced “Mera dad ki Maruti”.
“Kapil is one of the biggest names on television right now. He debuts in a film titled Bank-Chor. Kapil has also been signed on to the company’s talent management wing that handles celebrity endorsements and films,” a source close to the production house told leading tabloid.
Kapil who is very excited about the project revealed that the movie will not be a usual comic flick, he said “It’s a privilege and a dream to be part of this family and have my launch with them. The script is the most exciting part, since it’s the kind of role that’s very different from the typical comedian role. I’ve always loved and watched thrillers and this is a thriller comedy, so that’s even better.”
