Toh Phasee is a romantic comedy movie directed by debutante Vinil
Mathew. The movie is produced by Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap, and
has Parineeti Chopra and Siddharth Malhotra is lead roles. Adah
Sharma who made a smashing debut in horror movie “1920” will also

Nikhil (Siddharth Malhotra) who is middle class working man meets slightly cracked and unusual Meeta (Parineeti Chopra) after a gap of nearly ten years since their first meeting. Nikhil has around one week to prove himself worth enough to marry Meeta's sister Karishma (Adah Sharma). And as the old acquaintances meet again the sparks fly and their situation gets complicated. So how Nikhil and Meeta solve their problem is the story of the movie.
Surely, the star of the movie is Parineeti Chopra who delivers a brilliant performance as a cracked girl. Such is the perfection in her acting that not for one moment you can fathom she is the same bubbly and talkative actress who was seen in “Shudh Desi Romance” and “Ishqzaade”. Siddharth is also good in his role of a sentimental boy. The screenplay writer Harshavardhan Kulkarni and director Vinil Mathew should also be lauded for efficiently adding comedy to the romance. The characters in the movie are also efficiently developed.
In the nutshell, Hasee Toh Phasee is a good entertaining flick. I would say a must match for those who love rom-coms featuring the younger generation.
