Tanu Monne Vellipoyindi is directed by popular director Vamsy who has earlier given several critically acclaimed and commercial hit movies including national award winning movie Sitaara. The movie which is a romantic drama has Ajmal Ameer and Nikitha Narayan in leading roles. The movie which will be Vamsy's 25th venture has been eagerly awaited by fans and critics as well. The movie is basically an youth centred romantic comedy. Ajmal plays the role of a boy who goes in search of a childhood friend. And on this journey he meets four girls and faces several amusing and interesting scenarios. Nikitha Narayan portrays the role of his love interest.
The highlight of the movie is Vamsy's direction. Though, he hasn't served another masterful work, but still the movie has all the important elements of a successful venture. The story is endearing, funny, interesting and beautifully executed. Ajmal who is known for the smart selection of movies, has once again delivered a strong performance in the movie. However, the same can't be said about the lead actress Nikitha who is barely noticeable for her acting skills in the movie.
