The
excitement and enthusiasm for the 15th Indian International Film
Academy Awards (IIFA) 2014 is building up as the Weekend and Awards
near its schedule. It will be held from April 23-26, 2014 in Tampa
Bay, Florida. The awards is making its debut in the United States
this year.
Hillsborough County Commissioner Al Higginbotham said "Excitement and envy filled the air in New York and Los Angeles when organizers described plans for the 2014 International Indian Film Academy Weekend & Awards in Tampa."
The cross-country tour that took place to promote the IIFA 2014 celebrations visited New York, Los Angeles and Tampa Bay. Al Higginbotham was a part of the tour.
"We as locals overlook the benefits of the area, which is becoming a destination for the world, specially the Asian market" he said. Next tour will be to Mumbai where nominations of the IIFA Awards 2014 will be announced.
