Ishq Brandy Punjabi movie review

Ishq Brandy is a comedy movie directed by Amit Prasher who will be looking to repeat success of his debut movie “Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22”. The movie has popular comedian Binnu Dhillon along with singers Alfaaz and Roshan Prince in lead roles. Japji Khaira who plays the role of Alfaaz's love interest is the lead actress in the movie. Now, lets take a look at the story and the movie review of the movie which has a tag line "if you are my friend, then I don't need an enemy."

Teji (Alfaaz), Gura (Roshan Prince) and Pritam (Binnu Dhillon) are the three friends who go on a trip to Mauritius where they get wasted after falling under spell on Brandy. The whole episode creates a mess in their love as well as personal life. They also get in trouble with a underworld don (B.N Sharma). So, how they get out of the mess is the story of the movie.

The star of the movie once again is Binnu Dhillon who manages to entertain you with his every scene. B.N Sharma and Karmjit in roles of bad guys are hilariously funny. The witty one liners are cleverly written and executed. Roshan Prince has done a decent so has Alfaaz. The role of female actresses in this movie is very limited which means Japji and Gabbi doesn't get much chance to show their acting skills.

The movie like other Punjabi movies of this era is a pure masala entertainer. And this entertainment and comic aspect is very nicely used by the director making it worth watching. The individuals who prefer serious cinema should stay away.

Sandhira.com movie review rating 3.5/5
