Asa Ha Atarangi is a romantic movie directed by Ajit Shirole. The movie is produced by Pyarelal Choudhary under the banner of “Surya Putra”. Makrand Anaspure and Priyanka Yadav are cast in the lead roles while Vikas Patil, Pramod Pawar and Kishore Mahabole are cast in supporting roles. Asa Ha Atarangi is based on the story of an artist named Jagannath who lives a carefree and independent life. He doesn’t care about money and is always ready to help others. Subsequently, he meets Meena who is very beautiful but blind. Jagannath falls in love with her and decides to get her treatment done on his expenses. Meanwhile, a new friend named Prasad makes an entry into Jangannath’s life. Prasad's entry changes the dynamics of their lives. So, how they cope with this new change and how love between Jagannath and Meena blossoms is the story of the movie.
Director Ajit Shirole has done a decent job in this movie but could have done better. The successful actor Makrand has given a solid performance in this movie. Actress Priyanka is also good in her role of a blind girl. She looks innocent and sweet in her act. The rest of the star cast has also done a decent job. The movie is good but its good concept is underused by the director.
