What did Sonam Kapoor text Salman Khan?

The chance of working with Salman Khan has always been a matter of prestige for actresses. Salman Khan in many ways is a ticket to success and has launched career of many Bollywood personalties.

Recently, there had been a severe competition for the role of female lead opposite Salman Khan in Sooraj Barjatya's upcoming directorial venture. Intially, may names were mentioned for the role, but in the end the main contenders for the role were Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor.

And now with the combination of Deepika's busy schedule and destiny, the Kapoor girl has landed the important role. In an interview, she confirmed the news, she said “Yes, Soorajji’s film is finalised. It’s a superb role and I am very excited.”

Sonam also revealed that she discussed the role with her father Anil Kapoor. “He (Anil) was like, ‘You liked the story, then go ahead.’ I also messaged Salman sir, saying, ‘I really liked the script when I read it and I am looking forward to working with you,’” she added.

Now, it is interesting to note that there were reports that Salman Khan himself had rejected Deepika because of her hectic schedule. So, it really makes you think that whether that message helped Sonam's cause.
