Yasakhan Tamil movie review

Yasakhan Tamil movie review

Yasakhan is a romantic movie set amidst the social drama. The movie is directed by debutante Thuraivanan who has earlier worked in capacity of associate to director Ameer. The movie has Mahesh and Niranjani in the leading roles. The movie is produced by Santhosh Pandian and the music director of the movie is Sathish Chakravarthy who has worked under the Oscar wining music director A.R. Rahman. Now, let's take a look at the story and the movie review.

Yasakhan is a story of a young man who time after time faces various atrocities in society. Surya (Mahesh) is a man who is different form everyone and hence attracts unwanted attention. He lives for himself and others as well. He is considered as a failure but to him the opinion of other doesn't matter. As the movie moves forward he falls in love with a girl. However, after some time she also leaves him and Surya instead of getting angry, forgives her and accepts her decision with fortitude. But does the society allow him to live in peace, is the story of the movie.

The concept and the story of the movie is undoubtedly great but the director has somehow failed to portray it's beauty on the celluloid. He could have done a better job in making the plot tighter and more consistent. Mahesh as done a great job in the movie as he seamlessly slips into the role of Surya. The music by Satish is also decent.
