Virattu is a fast paced action thriller which is mostly shot in Thailand. The movie is about the life of male protagonist who wants to achieve everything. And his path intersects with life of leading lady who just wants peace in her life and wants to get out of the mess she currently finds herself in. So, how they achieve their personal ambitions and desire is the story of the movie.
Director Ravilla has done a decent job as he paces the movie perfectly to keep the viewers interested and intrigued. Though, in some sequences he seems to have lost the plot as the movie gets a bit chaotic. The action scenes in the movie are good, the highlight being the one shot on the top of the train. The acting performance of Sujiv is noteworthy amongst the cast. Erica and Pragya have also done a decent job. Overall, Virattu is a one time watch movie which has decent suspense to keep the audience glued till the end.
