Veerudokkade is a dubbed version of popular Tamil movie Veeram directed by debutant director Siva who directed hit films Souryam’, ‘Sankam' and Daruvu in Telugu and worked in the past with hero Ajith. The film features Ajith Kumar and Tamannaah, a milky beauty paired besides Ajith for the first time in the lead roles. The supporting cast include Vidharth, Santhanam, Suza Kumar and Abhinaya amongst others.
In the story of Veerudokkade, Ajith Kumar plays a role of elder brother to Vidharth, Bala, Munish & Suhail, and all of them didn't get married because his elder brother Ajith Kumar didn't get married. These brothers involved in all fun and rowdyism activities.
Santhanam known for his comic roles, played an advocate role, who used to have fun and argue with those brothers to bring them out from jail, after very police arrest. Then, Tamanna enters into Ajith Kumar's life and he fell in love with her. Afterwards, they face the problem from their enemy Pradeep Ravad and u-turn comes in an action masala movie.
According to the movie review, Veerudokkade comes to be an out and out commercial entertainer and Ajith’s look has received a great response from movie. The movie has created a buzz at the box office just like it's Tamil version.
The script was well written and concept is unique that made the movie to gain excellent comments. Devi Sri Prasad had composed music and lyrics are given by Bhuvana Chandra for this film that has five songs in total is also applauded by the music lovers.
