Parankimala Malayalam Movie Review
Parankimala,
a drama Malayalam movie is the remake of Bharathan's hit movie
"Parankimala". Parankimala film is an adaptation of novel
by famous writer Kakkanadan, which is directed by debutante Sennan
Pallassery, the youngest of the Pallassery brothers and produced by
Vijin and Thomas Kokkat under the banner of V.S. International
Films.
Cinematography is done by R. Mani Prasad and dialogues are written by director Sennan Pallassery. Beyon and Vinutha Lal played the lead role and Jagadeesh, Kalabhavan Mani, Indrans and Mini Richard are the other cast in the movie whose story and review are given here as under.
The plot of remade Parankimala', a 1981 Malayalam hit is the love story with a lot of passion, focuses on the female lead Vinutha Lal (Thanka) who sacrifices her life for her lover. Immortal love is the theme and the charm of the movie, which is very well done by female lead.
The appealing story of the movie is very much liked and able to hook the interest of the public. But, it is unable to rock the box office just as it did 30 years back with it's original release as per the reviews. The action-romance movie had shown the true essence of love that love is more about giving rather than taking.
Spicy and attractive look of lead actress in lungi and blouse like dress is also great. The music director is Afsal who composed the music for Parankimala. Performance-wise, cast has played its role well. Overall, movie after coming on the floors gained good reviews and positive comments.
