The dream of every actor, actress and everyone and anyone related with the cinema world, the National Awards 2014 , were held today. The prestigious awards were announced by the Directorate of the Films Festivals. The declaration ended the butterflies of many who awaited the results. Here is a list of the winners.

Best Sound Design Award: Madras Cafe

Best Special Effects Award: Jal

Best Dialogue Award: Astu (Marathi)

Best Costume Award: Jaatishwar (Bengali)

Best Music Award: Jaatishwar (Bengali) for its soulful music

Best Director Award: Hansal Mehta for Shahid

Best Actor Award: Rajkummar Rao for Shahid and Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu

Best Actress: Geetanjali Thapa for 'Liar's Dice'

Best Child Actor: Somnath Awghade for 'Fandry'

Best Playback Female Singer Award: Bela Shind for popular Marathi song, Koda Koda.

Best Playback Male Singer Award: Rupankar for Bengali film, Jaatishwar

Best Supporting Actress Award: Amruta Subhash for Astu and Alia El Kashif for Ship Of Theseus

Best Supporting Actor Award: Saurabh Shukla for Jolly LLB

Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration: Thalaimuraigal (Tamil).

Indira Gandhi Award For Best Debut Film Of A Director: Nagraaj Manjule for Fandry

Best Children’s Film: Kaphal

Best Bengali Film: Bakita Byaktigato

Best Kannada Film: December 1

Best Malayalam Film:North 24 Kaadham

Best Tamil Film: Thanga Meengal

Best Telugu Film: Na Bangaaru Talli

Special Jury mention for Anjali Patil, child actor for Chandana Roy.

Yellow and Miss Lovely also bagged the Special Jury Award.
