Dumeel is a comedy thriller movie directed by Shree and produced by C
J Jayakumar. Vaibhav and Remya Nambeesan is the leading pair in the
movie, while Kota Srinivasa Rao and Sayaji Shinde are cast in pivotal
roles. The music of the movie is composed by S. Thaman and the
cinematography is done by Edwin Sakay. Now, let's begin our movie
review.
Damaal Dumeel revolves around the story of young man who gets sucked into the criminal world. In the movie, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Sayaji Shinde are two warring gangsters who are fighting tooth and nail to obliterate his rival.
Vaibhav is a normal guy who is working in the IT field and has a normal life. However, as his life takes a turn for worse, he gets sucked into the criminal activity. So, how he emerges out of the mess and get better of his enemies is story of the movie Damaal Dumeel.
Shree has done a decent job weaving together elements of dark comedy and thriller to make an interesting and intriguing movie. The tempo and the flow of the movie is maintained to build tension prior to the climax of the movie.
The star cast of the movie has also done a commendable job. Vaibhav ably portrays chaos that engulfs his character as he is pushed towards the criminal world. His intensity and aggression in the action scenes is commendable. Kota Srinivasa Rao and Sayaji Shinde are also great in the role of gangsters. The only flaw in the movie is inefficient editing.
