Babu is a comedy movie directed by Ravi Babu and produced by Rajendra
Tripuraneni under the banner of Maharadhi Films. The movie will see
Ravi Babu teaming up once again with Allari Naresh who made his debut
in “Allari” under Ravi's guidance.
The leading ladies in the movie are Bhumika and Poorna. To boost the comedy aspect of the movie which is it's USP, popular comedians including Brahmanandam, Ali, Jaya Prakash Reddy, MS Narayana, Krishna Bhagavan and Kondavalasa, are cast in the movie. Now, let's take a look at the movie review.
Laddu Babu is the story of an extremely obese man (Allari Naresh). The movie has already generated a lot of buzz thanks to the heavy fat suit Naresh had to wear for eight hours during the shooting schedule of the movie.
Laddu Babu Movie follows his hilarious endeavours as looks to find a suitable wife and somewhere in that search falls in love with beautiful Poorna. So, whether he is successful in winning love of his life despite his obesity is the story of the movie.
Naresh's acting in the movie appears to be sluggish which was expected because of the heavy fat suit he had to wear for his character. But still he could have done better in the movie. Likewise, director Ravi has also woefully underperformed. The performance of the whole star cast severely lacks direction and cohesion.
