Prabhanjanam Telugu movie review

Prabhanjanam Movie is a socio-political drama directed by Bhaskar Rao Vendrati. Apart from being the director Vendratti has written the screenplay of the movie and has also produced the venture under the Chaitanya Art Creations banner.

While Ajmal plays the role of leading character, Sandesh, Aarushi, Panchi Bora, Nazar, Naga Babu, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Gollapudi Maruthi Rao are cast in supporting roles. The music of the movie is composed by RP Patnaik and editing id done by Mohan Rama Rao. Now, let's take a look at the movie review.

Prabhanjanam focuses on the impact of an accident on the group of college going friends. The main character realises that there is something more to life which adds worth to our living. He studies the historical freedom movement and analyses how it would impact our present life. His friends join him in a campaign to spread awareness about democracy.

Vendratti has taken a wise and smart decision to release a political movie during the elections. The hysteria and buzz that has engulfed the society as the nation votes for new government, will surely help the movie in garnering a positive response. Though the script of the movie is ably developed and executed, still there are some sequences in which over emphasis on politics acts as an overkill.

The cast of the movie has done a decent job, especially lead actor Ajmal who excels in the role of a thoughtful and serious visionary. The music of the movie is good, but the weak editing makes movie uneven and bit sluggish in some sequences.

Sandhira movie review rating– 2.5/5
