Vitti Dandu Marathi Movie Review

Vitti Dandu, a drama movie directed by Ganesh Kadam and produced by Leena Deore. The patriotic movie features Yateen Karyekar, Mrunal Thakur and Ravindra Mankani, and other cast includes Dilip Prabhavalkar, Ashok Samarth, Nishant Bhavsar, Gowhar Khan, Shubhankar Atre, Radhika Deore. Let's look over the blended story and review of Vitti Dandu.

The story of the Marathi movie very well portrays level of patriotism before independence in India. The movie showcase the victory of love for the nation over attachments for a loved one. It revolves around the relationship between grandfather and his grandson, which was unfolded by the grandson of 1947 who has now become grandfather before the grandson of 2014.

Grandfather told the grandson about Morgaon, which is a small village and the tale that wrapped off just six days before the Independence. In those days, communication was equivalent to zero and villagers used to receive news after 8-9 days.

The plot is blend of many genres as there is relationship, love, patriotism, drama, humor and action. The script penned by Vikas Kadam is really appealing and also, movie have been shot at a scenic location that made the movie to score good reviews.

The music is directed by Santosh Mulekar and songs would match the different instance and take you on a different level that adds to the popularity of the movie, as per the reviews. However, as the movie is made on small budget and lack of star cast made the movie unable to create a buzz at the box-office.

Though, cast has done full justice with the roles allotted to them, in accordance to the reviews. Despite, Vitti Dandu able to hit and remained to the small screens only. The movie with unique theme and catchy songs tried to revive the memories of people by taking them back to the golden era of the pre-independent days.
