Vaayai Moodi Pesavum Tamil movie review

Vaayai Moodi Pesavum Tamil movie review: Vaayai Moodi Pesavum , which is a romantic comedy is one of the most awaited movies of 2014. The reason for the anticipation is that legendary actor Mammooty's son Dulquer Salman is all set to make his debut with the movie. The movie will be directed by Balaji Mohan who was lauded for his unique narrative in debut movie Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi.

Nazriya Nazim and Madhoo are cast in important female roles. The music of the movie is composed by Sean Roldan, while the cinematography is undertaken by Soundararajan. The venture is produced by Y NOT Studios in association with Radiance Media. Now, let's begin our analysis with in depth movie review.

Vaayai Moodi Pesavum is a social and political satire which portrays the impact of a rare strain of flu spreads in a village which makes people lose their ability to speak. In the movie, Dulquer plays the role of a salesman who sells an adhesive called Dr. Fix It.

The director has used the metaphor of a flu to represent the society which has already lost it's ability to speak out against wrong and injustice. Through, it's plot and sub characters, the movie aims to show that the lack of communication is root cause of our social and political problems.

Mohan once again excels with his unique narration style with which he perfectly implements his satirical screenplay in the movie. The screenplay of the movie is intelligent and comic in equal measures.

Dulquer also impresses in his debut movie with his pleasant salesman who turns into a reliable problem solver. The music of the movie is a bit let down in the movie. Otherwise, all other aspects of the movie work perfectly well.
