The story of the Disco Singh movie revolves around the life of a struggling singer who was named as Lattuprasad (Diljit Dosanjh) by his parents. He owns a orchestra which performs at the marriages and other family functions. He now has only two dreams success and Sweety (Surveen Chawla) who is a beautiful and successful model. He prays day and night, asking god to fulfill his dreams.

His prayers are answered as Bhupinder Singh aka Paaji (Manoj Pahwa), a dreaded don asks him to do a job for him and in return he will be paid money as much as he demands.

The job he has to do is to woo Sweety and become her fake boyfriend. So, begins his dream journey to win over Sweety and save his life from Paaji. The things become complicated and how he gets out of the mess is story of the movie.

Diljit Dosanjh has once again carried the movie with his brilliant comic timing and funny liners. He is at his hilarious best in the role of Lattu. Surveen Chawla is also at her sizzling best in the role of a glamour model. Manoj Pahwa as the don, B N Sharma and Karamjit Anmol as his underlings also create many hilarious sequences. All in all, Disco Singh is a laugh riot with Diljit at his charming best.
