Alan Partridge Review

Alan Partridge Review

Alan Partridge, a comedy-thriller movie is directed by a TV veteran making his movie debut Declan Lowney in the UK. The 90 minutes Hollywood movie features Colm Meaney, Felicity Montagu, Nigel Lindsay, Sean Pertwee, Steve Coogan (Alan Partridge) and Tim Key. Let's begin the story and review of Alan Partidge.

The plot of Alan Partridge revolves around Alan (Steve Coogan) who is is vain, selfish, stupid, status-obsessed, cruel, petty and tasteless. He made fans laugh over several BBC television and radio programs, but when DJ Alan Partridge's radio station is taken over by a new media conglomerate, it sets in motion a chain of events. The comedy genre of the movie after these events shifted to thrill, when Alan has to work with the police to disable a potentially violent siege.

According to the movie reviews, the performance of Alan in the movie is hilarious, fabulous and has done good work in both the genres of the flick. The unimaginative and endless script has flow and unique theme. The movie scored good comments and Coogan gets the guilty laughs.

But, it appears to be very English as it finds the mean smallness of so much of British life. The imagination really fails, when the police blowing up a lunchbox used by a hostage to excrete in and having Partridge lose his trousers and underpants while climbing through a window, as per the reviews.

Alan Partridge movie hit the big screens of the Hollywood with a big bang, as it finds Alan, appeared in every possible medium except for a West End musical and a feature movie. The comedy, thrill and suspense able to hook the interest of the audience until the last frame. Splendid ending is worth watching as well.
