Dekh Tamasha Dekh movie review


Dekh Tamasha Dekh is a social political satire directed by acclaimed director Feroz Abbas Khan and produced by Sunil Lulla under the banner of Eros Internatonal and Bombay Local pictures. The script of the movie is written by award winning screenwriter Shafaat Khan and the cinematography is handled by Hemant Chaturvedi.

Satish Kaushik is cast in the main role of a corrupt politician. Nikhil Ratnaparkhi who achieved fame with his role in Tere Bin Laden and veteran actor Ganesh Yadav are cast in pivotal oles. Now, let's take a look at the story and the movie review of Dekh Tamasha Dekh.

Two labourers which criticizing and mocking politicians are fixing a giant cut-out of the local politician. But then a strong gust of wind topples the cut-out and a drunk is crushed to death under it's weight. And so starts the tug of war, the slingfest over the religion of the deceased man. The Dekh Tamasha Dekh movie is based on true events and is set in 90's.

Feroz has once gain done a great job in portraying the sensitive subjects such as religious divide with astonishing flair and dexterity. The movie is hilarious and yet has disguised powerful and serious topic which over the years has ravaged our society. In the movie, he has portrayed how our identity is defined by our religious background.

The star cast of the movie has delivered an accomplished performance. Satish Kaushik is brilliant in the role of a corrupt and powerful local politician. Editor Sreekar Prasad has also done a decent job in the movie. In the nutshell, Dekh Tamasha Dekh is an excellent and hilarious satire of our society.
